Jazeera becomes the Airlines partner of ‘Mero Gaun, Mero Thau’

An agreement has been signed that makes Jazeera Airlines an airline partner for the ‘Mero Gaun, Mero Thau‘ video challenge 2023. The agreement was signed on Monday between Jazeera Airways commercial manager Amit Nagrath and We Will Rise Foundation director and program coordinator Nirmal Shrestha.

At present, it flies to around 50 destinations that include Istanbul, Baku, Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Bahrain, Cairo, Doha & Istanbul.

Kuwait based Jazeera Airways flies ten times a week from Nepal. Jazeera is the first foreign airline to start flights at the Gautam Buddha International Airport. Established in 2004, Jazeera started its operations in Gulf countries. At present, it flies to around 50 destinations that include Istanbul, Baku, Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah Bahrain, Cairo, Doha & Istanbul.

We Will Rise Foundation has been hosting a video challenge named ‘Mero Gaun, Mero Thau’ to unravel tourism spots with great potential but remaining hidden, which include important natural and cultural heritages, dresses, ethnic introductions, culinary objects, arts, and cultural assets.

We Will Rise Foundation has been hosting a video challenge named ‘Mero Gaun, Mero Thau’ to unravel tourism spots with great potential but remaining hidden, which include important natural and cultural heritages, dresses, ethnic introductions, culinary objects, arts, and cultural assets. First video challenge was organized in 2019 in which a total of 132 videos participated from all over the country. Although yet another video challenge was announced for 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed.

The video should be maximum 5 minutes long. Among the received videos, will select the 10 best, which will be given the ‘Mero Gaun’ Mero Thau award, including a cash prizes.

Challengers can prepare their videos on any places of natural or cultural heritage, including dresses, culinary objects, arts and culture, and ethnic introductions that are lying in obscurity but have enough tourism development potential. The video should be maximum 5 minutes long. Among the received videos, will select the 10 best, which will be given the ‘Mero Gaun’ Mero Thau award, including a cash prizes.
