Hodgson’s Redstarts couple Seen in Chitwan

A pair of Hodgson’s Redstarts were sighted in Chitwan. These birds which hasn’t been seen from Chitwan in recent years. Hodgson’s Redstart is found in elevations ranging from 2100 to 5000m above sea level. They can be spotted in and around cultivation, grasslands, stony riverbeds. Hodgson’s redstart is a species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal. Its natural habitat is temperate forests. It is a winter visitor in the Himalayas.
