COVID-19 update: 455 new cases, two deaths

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 455 more people in the last 24 hours across the country.
This was revealed through 4,829 samples tested in various laboratories across the country during the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The total number of those infected has reached 993,032. Similarly, during the period, 302 people have recovered from infection. The recovery rate is 98.82 percent, the Ministry said.
Currently, the number of active cases of COVID-19 is 5,435 with 5,246 in home isolation, 189 in institutional isolation, 65 in ICU facility and two on ventilator support.
Two people succumbed to the flu-like infection in the last 24 hours. This takes the death toll from the deadly infection to 11,988. Meanwhile, 13,328 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
